The Chasmalim stand about 2 meters tall, and are extremely beautiful, with white wings. They wear sapphire blue tunics, and give off an aura of intense light that makes it difficult to look at them.
Jupiter's Kamea is the 4×4 magic square — every row, column, and diagonal sums to 34, and the total sum of all cells is 136. It is through this grid that the sigils of Jupiter's entities are traced, connecting numerical values to create sacred geometric forms.
Jupiter appears as a kingly bearded man in his prime, often shown bearing his thunderbolts or a sceptre or lance, and sometimes a patera (offering plate). He is sometimes depicted riding an eagle, griffin, or a winged stag. The oak tree was sacred to him, and he was occasionally represented wearing a wreath of oak leaves.

Align your intention with planetary force. Trace your will across the Kamea and forge your sigil.
From the planetary spheres to the art of ritual itself — four chapters that guide you from initiate to practitioner. Each builds upon the last.
Begin your journey by understanding the seven classical planets — the foundation upon which all planetary magick rests.
The seven classical planets — Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon — are the pillars of planetary magick. Each planet carries its own unique frequency, governing specific forces in the natural and spiritual worlds. Understanding their correspondences is the first step on the practitioner's path.
Each sphere is associated with astrological signs, colors, metals, cardinal directions, and archangels who serve as overseers of that planet's energies. These correspondences are not arbitrary — they are the language through which we communicate with the planetary forces.
Select any planet below to reveal its full correspondences. These are the building blocks you will return to again and again throughout your practice.
Each planet has an Archangel who directs its energies, a Planetary Intelligence who manages the planetary spirits (positive qualities), and a Planetary Spirit which is the raw, ungoverned, pure energy without focus (negative qualities) — most effective when worked through the Intelligence or Archangel.
Discover the magic squares of the planets — the numeric grids from which all traditional planetary sigils are derived.
A Kamea is a planetary magick number square whose row and column length correspond to a unique planetary frequency. These are not mere mathematical curiosities — they are the matrices through which intention is transformed into symbol, and symbol into force.
Saturn has a 3×3 Magick Kamea Square. Jupiter has a 4×4. Mars has a 5×5 — and so on, up through the Moon's 9×9 grid. For each row, column, and diagonal on a Kamea, the total is the same — this constant sum is part of the planet's sacred numerology.
Select a planet below to view its Kamea. Hover over any cell to highlight its row and column — notice that each sums to the planet's magic constant.
A sigil is a pictographic representation of your intent, or of a chosen spiritual creature or angelic reference. When you trace a word or name across the numbered cells of a Kamea, connecting each letter's numeric value, the resulting path becomes the sigil — a visual embodiment of that intention or entity.
When you use a sigil on an amulet or talisman, you are creating a bond that draws energy from it, like the charging of a battery. The sigils for specific angelic references are bonded with specific planets — each planet has an Angel, and each Angel has a sigil.
The Kamea is not just a grid of numbers — it is the language through which you speak to the planetary forces. The sigil you trace upon it carries your intention directly into the sphere of that planet's influence.
Every hour of every day is ruled by a planet. Learn to calculate and harness the planetary hours to align your workings with celestial rhythms.
Planetary time, originating with the Egyptians, attributes each of the seven classical planets to each hour of the day. The ruler of the first hour is the ruler of the day itself. This ancient system of timing is one of the most powerful tools available to the planetary magician.
Planetary time has two sets of hours: twelve hours of the day (sunrise to sunset) and twelve hours of the night (sunset to the next sunrise). Each hour is not a typical 60-minute span — the hours of the day and night are typically not equal in length, except during equinoxes or other celestial events where they may be made equal.
The ruler of the first hour is the ruler of the day. Use this chart to find which planet governs any hour on any day. The first hour of each day (the day ruler) is highlighted in gold.
| Hour | Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday |
|---|
The calculation is straightforward once you understand the principle. Let's walk through a complete example — say you want to perform a ritual aligned with Venus on a Thursday (Jupiter's day), combining two planetary influences.
Today is Thursday. Sunrise is 7:55 AM. Sunset is 5:46 PM.
Between sunrise and sunset there are 591 minutes. Subtract from 1,440 (24 hours) to find 849 night minutes.
Divide each by 12: Day Hours = 49.25 minutes · Night Hours = 70.75 minutes
Looking at the chart, the 4th hour of the day on Thursday is Venus. Calculate forward from sunrise:
Hour 1: 7:55 AM · Hour 2: 8:44 AM · Hour 3: 9:33 AM · Hour 4 (Venus): 10:22 AM – 11:11 AM
You must perform your ritual between 10:22 AM and 11:11 AM to be influenced by Venus, with Jupiter (ruler of the day) as an additional influence — a powerful double alignment.
Night hours are calculated the same way, using sunset as the starting time and the nighttime hour length. You can round when necessary.
There is math to be done, but with practice — and using our Planetary Clock — alignment becomes achievable with desire and persistence.
Enter a day, sunrise, and sunset time to calculate all 24 planetary hours. Or use the Planetary Clock for real-time data.
An adept use of planetary hours is utilizing the influence of two planets simultaneously — performing a working during one planet's hour on another planet's day creates a double alignment, combining the beneficial aspects of both. Care must be taken, as not all planetary frequencies play well together.
While you may find other techniques on this website, here we outline the structure for creating and using planetary magick — so as not to restrict the powerful creativity and synchronicities each individual brings.
The path from knowledge to practice follows four steps: Intent, Information, Apply, and Forget. Click each step below to reveal its teaching.
While any intention can be used for planetary magick, in my experience and observations, intentions that are aligned with your True Will get the best results. Everyone has a different True Will — after all, it's why we're here.
While you may think you want heaps of money, truly what you desire is all the things you are imagining you can do with that money. It has also been my observation that when stated in the present tense, or as if it has already happened, the intention brings with it powerful emotion which resonates your current frequency with that of your desired outcome in space and time.
An example of an intention to help your business: "My new marketing strategy is extremely successful."
This intention fulfills everything required for planetary magick: 1) It is stated in the positive present tense. 2) It describes a personal action — intention is useless on its own, you must do something that directly influences your outcome; planetary magick is an indirect influence. 3) It does not harm or imply harm — planetary magick favors things that build, not destroy.
Once you have your True Will's intention, select your Kamea and construct an Intention Sigil to be used later in your ritual.
You want to gather any and all information you feel is necessary to direct the indirect influences of the best planetary body that resonates or is aligned with your True Will (intention).
Examples of information to gather: Names of planetary angels and/or archangels · Names of planetary spiritual creatures · Planetary sigils · Intention sigils · The planetary time(s) you will invoke planetary energies · Planetary symbols · Planetary scents · Planetary images
The use of all these elements is unnecessary. However, some form of planetary representation must be used in order to resonate accurately. Names, planetary time, and sigils are the most required for the activation of planetary alignment.
Once you have your intention and gathered your planetary influences — sigils, names, scents, and the rest — bring them all together to perform a ritual during the chosen planetary time. If you already have rituals or methods, always feel free to add or adjust planetary influences and energies to further make potent your existing practices.
1. Protection & Grounding — Perform some kind of protective or grounding practice: the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, visualization techniques, prayer, or other methods.
2. Alter Your State of Mind — Through yogic breathing, visualization, meditation, or other practices that shift your consciousness.
3. Perform Your Ritual — During the planetary time, with your gathered influences, execute the working itself.
4. Close with Gratitude — Close the ritual with gratitude or other grounding methods, returning to ordinary consciousness.
It should never be forgotten — the true purpose of magick is to enhance and enrich the already rich experience of life.
Once you perform your ritual, quite literally forget about it and go about the rest of your day and life. Be grateful you had the chance to do what you just did — it was pretty magickal.
Think of it this way: you perform a ritual to direct and send energies with your intention, emotion, and knowledge. If you were to constantly think of or perform rituals towards an outcome, the ritual would never be complete.
We have to let things live and die in order to get to that level of true creation required for powerful planetary magick.
This concludes the core teachings. The rest of this space is dedicated to information on the planets and is ever-growing with new discoveries — or shall we say, discoveries of old. Explore the planetary spheres, use the Sigil Creator, and consult the Planetary Clock to begin your practice.
